Book Club at the Library

Friends of the Library sponsors library book club discussions open to anyone in the community. 

Limited to 12 people for each meeting, participation is fluid and no one is expected to join every discussion.  Everyone is welcome at any and all book club meetings (no library card required).

Currently, there are active book clubs at the Carolyn Stewart Public Library in Jasper and the Orena Humphreys Public Library in Whitwell. 

Coming soon - a book club at the Beene Pearson Library in South Pittsburg.

To participate, check the book club selection each month for each library then sign up at the library of your choice if you wish to join the discussion of that month's book.  

Don't have a copy of the book? Check with the librarian to request a copy through interlibrary loan (library card required).
