Joining is easy: 

  • Download the membership form from the Membership page or pick one up at your local library.
  • To submit, please do one of the following:

  1.  Mail the completed form with your check to P.O. Box 72, Jasper, TN 37347. 
  2. Drop off your form and check or cash in the blue Friends of the Library box available on the circulation desk of each library. 
  3. Click on the Pay Now button on the Membership page to pay, then download/fill in the membership form from the Membership page, save as a PDF, and email the form to info@friendsmclibraries.org.



Annual Individual - $5

Annual Family $10

Annual Business - $50

Note: Annual memberships renew in January

Lifetime - $100


Yes. Friends of the Library Marion County, TN is a current and valid 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in accordance with the standards and regulations of the IRS. This donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this donation. 


No, Friends of the Library is a community based volunteer nonprofit group formed to build awareness, appreciation, and support for the three libraries in Marion County. Members are unpaid volunteers and do not work for any of the libraries, library boards, the cities of Jasper, South Pittsburg, or Whitwell,  or Marion County.


Visit your local library's website for hours of operation.


You can obtain a library card by visiting your local library and providing a valid photo ID and proof of address. Friends of the Library cannot issue library cards.


Yes, all three libraries offer a variety of online resources including e-books, audiobooks, and online databases. You can access these resources with your library card.
